FAMOUS WOMEN MONTH   
4th grade Web quest

     The purpose of this Web Quest is to learn a little bit about the women who shaped history, learn some important facts about various women in history and to create a stamp and write a small report about one famous woman.
 

Activity 1

Activity 2
 Select a famous woman from the list in your classroom.  Find the answers to the questions on your Famous Women Worksheet. Choose your person from the list and click on her name then go to the internet and find more information if you need it.

Activity 3
Now, type up the information in Word using the WRITING SHEET set up on the S drive. Fill in the sheet writing in complete sentences and remember to proofread. When finished, have a teacher check it over before printing.

Activity 4

A number of famous women have been honored with United States Postage Stamps. Go to the Publisher program and create a stamp using the internet to get a picture of the woman you chose for your research.
